Week 23

So this week has started off very snowy, food planning started with what we had in the cupboard, we were due to get a veg box on Friday but the snow stopped this so it was back to basics and what we had in the freezer and cupboards til we could get out.

Saturday

Breakfast was meant to be pancakes using the mixture for waffles but they failed so turned it into a baked oats with plums!  A lovely late breakfast after snowman building.

Lunch was tuna fishcakes we used shop bought chilli sauce lovely for a couple of syns

Afternoon treat was a homemade cappuccino and dinner a roast loin of pork using the lovely meat from Heartier with roast potatoes and homemade apple sauce (3 syns)

Sunday

A nice grill up to save my syns and HEXs for later


We decided to go out for lunch to Pizza Express, went for one of their leggera pizza's and used my HEA on the cheese, my little one decided to dip his crusts in my salad dressing so had my syns for me!

Dinner was from the SW fakeaway book - Goan fish curry

Monday

After an interrupted night essential Monday morning breakfast

leftover fish curry for lunch and then slow cooked pork ragu from Save with Jamie, syn free too

Tuesday

leftover ragu for lunch and then a precooked meal from the freezer for a quick dinner,  beef stew and syn free

Wednesday

SW tomato, lentil and vegetable soup for lunch

Dinner after weigh in was hoisin pak choi rice (4.5 syns), after losing 1.5lb this week I got to pick up my 2 stone award, getting closer to target now




Thursday

My lovely haul from Devizes market today, lots of lovely fresh fruit for weekday snacks


soup for lunch and then Mexican breakfast for dinner (8 syns), with some slimming world wedges instead of pitta

Friday

lunch of jacket potato, beans and cheese at work as we didn't have anything planned

Gammon, egg and SW chips!
