Week 21

Food plan done for the week and lots of lovely fairly low syn meals ahead!  I am finding that using the Slimit app really helps keep track of my syns and HEA and HEB each day and I can pop in all the syns for the week's food at the start so I know what is left for treats

Saturday

Started the day with a grill up to save my HEA and HEB for treats later.

Hubbie decided he fancied fish and chips for lunch so I had some of the fish with asparagus whilst they devoured the battered fish and chips!

Afternoon treat was a homemade cappuccino using half my HEA
Dinner was a venison stew with veg and roasted potatoes (3.5 syns)with a lovely Saturday treat of a Manhattan and Tequila after dinner

Sunday

Started the day with dippy eggs with asparagus, followed by yoghurt and fruit with a drizzle of very low syn pancake syrup

The family had homemade pizza for lunch whilst I made a calzone using some of the sauce and cheese and veg

Dinner was from the SW magazine - Beef in black bean sauce, mushroom, water chestnut stir fry and egg fried rice only 1/2 syn, lots of prep needed to do the final cooking in 15 minutes!

Monday

Day at home with the kids, decided to have a change and make some pancakes for breakfast with bacon and a splash of syrup.  There was enough mixture to have a sweet version later in the day too!

Today was a day of leftovers, Chinese for lunch and venison stew for dinner

Tuesday

A SW spiced black bean soup for lunch, nice and syn free

Dinner was a quick and easy Sicilian pasta - cherry tomatoes and capers (1.5 syns)

Wednesday

Soup for lunch again and sticky prawns for dinner (2.5 syns)

Thursday

Leftovers from the lovely pasta for lunch today

Dinner was curried noodles (3 syns)

Friday

No planned lunch so jacket potato and beans and cheese as a simple easy work lunch with lots of fruit and veg too

Hoisin chicken for dinner (4.5 syns)

Dinner is again from the same book Rendang beef and cauli rice with lovely mince from Heartier 4 syns in this.

Monday

Nice syn free breakfast using no healthy extras to save room for a mummy and kids play date

Waffles and baked oats using all our HEBs topped with fat free creme fraiche and fruit

Lunch was lovely left overs from last night.

Dinner was a lovely simple lemon courgette pasta

Tuesday

Work day breakfasts tend to be the same either wheatabix and half HEA of milk or baked oats leaving me with some milk for a nice cappuccino at lunchtime, lots depends on how much sleep little ones let me have!

I always make sure I have lots of #freefood snacks on hand to get me through the day and avoid temptation and cake runs!  these new Yeo valley yoghurts are lovely, syn free and no sweeteners either

Fall back leek and potato soup from the SW soup book, filling and syn free

Made up dinner as husband was having a pie, so chicken baked in foil with sage and garlic and mushrooms and mange tout dry pan fried with some fat free crème fraiche with mash and broccoli.

Wednesday

Lovely baked oats with blueberries to start the day with a cheeky little bit of choc shot too!

Lunch was the lovely soup again and dinner was a syn free chicken noodle stir fry, 8 syns, from Jamie Oliver's 5 ingredients book which we are loving the recipes from at the moment.

Tonight was also weigh in day and the scales started to move again with a 1/2lb loss.

Thursday

Lunch was another SW soup this time ribollita from the soup book, full of lots of speed veg, cabbage, leeks, onions, tomatoes and a tin of beans and a sprinkling of pasta

Dinner was a lovely California sprout salad with chorizo, 4 syns but worth it!

Friday

After soup for lunch dinner was a salmon tray back from one of the SW magazines.
